A rebrand can have a huge impact on your business, but it can be difficult to know when the right time is. Is your business ready for it? Will your investment be worth it? Here are four signs to help you figure out if it's time to take the leap.

1. You did your own branding and now feel like it doesn't align with your audience's expectations or your core values. A lot of young brands put off investing in a designer. Battling with so many scary overheads in those early days often means something has to give. But, if you have no experience, it’s really hard to get a grip on your audience and what they want without the help of a specialist.

2. You had help from a designer, but didn't have a clear vision of your business goals or target audience. Not having a clear and thorough understanding of your why, your goals and your audience will mean that you end up with branding that doesn’t offer an effective creative solution, whether you work with a designer or not.

3. You are feeling some sense of disconnect toward your business or are struggling to connect with your audience. The first thing we hear from clients looking to rebrand is “I’m feeling disconnected from my business”. If you’re feeling disengaged or a little lost, it’s time to go back to the drawing board and find a fix.

4. Your business has outgrown it's branding and needs to change and evolve in order to have a stronger, lasting impact. When a brand grows, you make lots of changes to how you operate, connect with your audience and fulfil all the commitments it takes to run the business day to day. It makes no sense to think that branding wouldn’t need to evolve with everything else too. If you’ve experienced growth and big changes recently, chances are your branding needs a refresh in order to keep up.
